Strawberry Citrus Cheesecake Salad

Strawberry Citrus Cheesecake Salad

Is it super cheesy that I’m so into these national food holidays? I suppose I’m alright with being cheesy. So in honor of cheese…and National Strawberry Day…

Ingredients:

5 oz baby spring mix
1 1/2 cups strawberries, sliced
3 oz raw goat cheddar, shredded
3 meyer lemons, juiced
3-4 droppers NuNaturals Vanilla Stevia Liquid
sea salt and pepper, to taste (optional)
minced raw garlic (completely optional. I have weird taste buds)

Toss and have salad for dessert!

Happy National Strawberry Day!

It looks delicious, do you follow food combining rules? Cause this salad is probably not properly combine or is it? Love strawberries:-)

Hi Misa! I do follow food combining rules 98% of the time. I assume you’re referring to the strawberries with the cheese? I don’t do it often, the last time was probably a year ago when I experimented with a blackberry smoothie that had raw goat milk. I make sure everything in the meal is raw when I’m including fruit (which is so rare) and usually it’s with nuts or seeds. The cheese was a rare exception for a tasty idea 🙂

That looks so delcious! That chart is pretty awesome, I’m pretty sure it’s chocolate and garlic day every day in my house!

  3. I am glad to hear it was national strawberry day as I’d been having cravings and was avoiding buying any due to them being out of season where I am. However, thanks to nearby(-ish!) Morocco, I picked up a buy one box get one free offer, & unknowingly celebrated! Thanks for sharing that chart – though March has be kinda scared – flour, celery and peanuts are not my favorite foods and then to alert me to it being caffeine awareness month…. Sigh! 😉 However, I like the UK’s idea of it being national veggie month! I can go for that one 🙂

I know, I’m throwing around some ideas for the celery but that’s about it. I didn’t look ahead, I wonder if the U.S. even HAS a National Veggie Month?!
